Chicago White Sox starting pitcher Miguel Gonzalez (shoulder) received a platelet-rich plasma injection earlier this week and is expected to be shut down for 10 to 14 days. Gonzalez has been on the disabled with right shoulder inflammation and was struggling with a 12.41 ERA in three starts.
