Detroit Red Wings right wing Michael Rasmussen scored the first goal of his NHL career on Tuesday and followed that up with another goal in Thursday's contest against the New Jersey Devils. Rasmussen did what he does best, and banged in a loose puck at the front of the net during a power play. The towering rookie now has two goals and one assist through 11 games this season and is starting to look more comfortable with each passing game. Fantasy managers should not rush to grab him unless they are in an incredibly deep league. He sees time on the second power-play unit, which bodes well for his fantasy value, but he has not shown enough consistency to be picked up in shallower formats. Keep an eye on him.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
