Michael Pineda Pitches Well In No-Decision
6 years agoMinnesota Twins right-hander Michael Pineda held the Seattle Mariners to one run over 5 2/3 innings of work in a 10-5 win on Thursday. Pineda struck out four and walked two but had to settle for a no-decision in the outing. The veteran right-hander now has a 4-3 record, 5.04 ERA, 1.21 WHIP, and 57 strikeouts in 69 2/3 innings of work. There was some buzz around Pineda as a potential sleeper before the season but he has settled in as more of a streamer option in good matchups only. He will take the mound against the Red Sox in his next start, a start that should be avoided by fantasy owners.
