Ottawa Senators defenseman Maxime Lajoie ended a seven-game goal drought on Sunday, scoring the team's second goal on a power play in a 4-3 overtime loss to Tampa. It's his fifth career goal and with 68 games still to go, he needs another five to match the Senators record for most in a season by a rookie defenseman. Lajoie, who celebrates his 21st birthday on Monday, has been thrown into the fire by head coach Guy Boucher and the Quebec-native hasn't disappointed, collecting eight points in 14 games. He picked up most of them at the start of the season, but with him getting over 21 minutes per game, there's always a chance he'll bag some points. With Cody Ceci also getting a goal against Tampa, Ottawa leads the league in goals scored by defensemen (12).--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
