Washington Capitals forward Max Pacioretty (Achilles) was a full participant in Tuesday's practice for the first time this season. Head coach Spencer Carbery said Pacioretty is "real close" to returning and could be ready after the Christmas break. Patches is coming off his second Achilles surgery and has played just 44 games since the start of the 2021-22 season. It could be a tough injury to come back from, especially at his age. All that said, we have seen nothing but solid play from the 35-year-old when he's been healthy, so he is worthy of a speculative roster spot in standard and deeper fantasy leagues. He should be part of the Caps' top six and first powerplay unit when he returns.--Matt Garon - RotoBaller
