Matthew Stafford Throws At Minicamp
1 year agoLos Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford (neck) wrapped up the team's mandatory minicamp on Wednesday after two days of throwing, something he wasn't able to do last year because of a right-elbow injury that required offseason surgery. Head coach Sean McVay described the difference of having Stafford available and participating as "night and day." Stafford played in just nine games in 2022 due to a concussion and neck injury, and the Rams offense cratered without him and receiver Cooper Kupp (ankle). The 35-year-old veteran will get Kupp back, but he doesn't have many reliable playmakers outside of that. And with injury concerns now mounting, Stafford has quickly become a lower-end QB2 in fantasy.
