2 years agoLos Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford has a tough matchup in Week 9 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bucs defense is allowing the sixth-fewest passing yards per game and the tenth-fewest touchdowns per game. Stafford has struggled against top 10 scoring defenses, averaging 247 yards per game and posting a 3/5 TD/INT ratio in four games against Buffalo, Dallas, and San Francisco (twice). He has to release the ball quicker than he did last year because the Rams' offensive line play is weak. He doesn't have time for plays to develop, so his average yards per attempt is down from 8.1 last year to 6.8 this year. Bucs OLB Shaq Thompson will miss the game with a knee injury.
