Matt Ryan Practices In Full Thursday
2 years agoUpdating a previous report, Indianapolis Colts quarterback Matt Ryan (shoulder) was a full participant in practice on Thursday and will be available to interim head coach Jeff Saturday on Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders, if so desired. Ryan is recovering from a Grade 2 right shoulder sprain, but the Colts still plan on using Sam Ehlinger as the starter under center for the rest of the season. The 37-year-old had 10 turnovers to open the season, but it remains to be seen if Saturday would consider going back to him if Ehlinger continues to play poorly. There's a chance that Ryan will be the backup to Ehlinger over Nick Foles in Week 10. For now, Ryan needs to remain on the waiver wire in all single-QB leagues.
