10 months agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Matt Breida (shoulder) will be held out of contact drills and likely all three of the remaining preseason games as a precaution, according to a source. The hope is that he'll be rested and ready to go in Week 1 against the Vikings. Breida is set to be the main backup to Jerick McKinnon this year, and he could have standalone value in deeper leagues as a flex. In standard-sized leagues, those who own McKinnon should try to handcuff Breida to him.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
