Masataka Yoshida Still Out With Forearm Injury
1 year agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Masataka Yoshida (forearm) remains out of Boston's lineup on Wednesday against the visiting Miami Marlins. Yoshida was hit by a pitch on his forearm over the weekend and will miss his second straight game, but fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day. Hopefully, he'll be back in there in the series finale against the Fish on Thursday. Rob Refsnyder is getting the start in left field and will hit third in the lineup against Marlins left-hander Braxton Garrett. Yoshida has just three hits in his last 18 at-bats, but he's been pretty impressive so far in his first major-league season. The 29-year-old Japanese slugger is slashing .299/.372/.466 with an .839 OPS, eight long balls, 17 doubles, two triples, 39 RBI and three stolen bases in 69 games.
