Martin Truex Jr. has been the dominant driver with the best car the last two times at Darlington. He led 248 laps of the 293 in the Spring race en route to one of the most impressive wins of the season. Last summer, he led 196 laps before fate dealt him a cruel hand (finished 22nd). Truex Jr. is a master of the build and more importantly high-wear tire tracks. Darlington, without a question, is all about the management of tires and even brakes (when it comes to the summer race). The Joe Gibbs Racing driver did lead at Daytona for 13 laps before having car problems again (finished 29th). He will be one to watch Sunday as the night sky grows darker. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
