The Joe Gibbs Racing driver came up 0.018 seconds short of William Byron on Saturday afternoon. Truex Jr. has been fast in qualifying the past two weeks. Between the pole at Martinsville and second at Phoenix, now comes the next step. Can the No. 19 car put it all together in a race? Last week, Truex Jr. struggled to get back into the top 15.
