Carolina Hurricanes forward Martin Necas registered his seventh goal of the campaign and also added a primary assist in his team's 4-3 overtime defeat of the Columbus Blue Jackets on Thursday. The 21-year-old also contributed a plus-two rating, two shots and two takeaways in 20:11 of ice time in the victory. Necas continued his torrid scoring pace as of late - having recorded 13 points (five goals, eight assists) in 12 games in March. With forwards Vincent Trocheck and Teuvo Teravainen both out due to injury, Necas (46% owned in Yahoo! leagues) has cemented himself as a fixture in the Canes' top-six forward group. The Czech forward has 24 points (seven goals, 17 assists), a plus-14 rating, eight power-play points and 63 shots in 29 games this season.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
