San Jose Sharks goalie Martin Jones allowed four goals on 14 shots in a 5-2 loss to the Anaheim Ducks on opening night. Brandon Montour's game-winner was particularly bad, as the defenseman lofted a blind backhander past Jones from beyond the faceoff dot. Jones has proven himself to be a capable starter over the past few seasons, and this bad outing will not be commonplace throughout the year.
