Marquise Brown "Making Great Progress"
Marquise Brown (ankle) is still recovering from his left ankld and foot injuries. "He's making great progress," Reid said of Brown. "He's running now." Brown isn't dealing with a high-ankle sprain and is making progress, but he has yet to return to training camp practice with the rest of the team, and it remains to be seen if he'll be cleared to play in the team's second preseason contest this Friday against the Seattle Seahawks. The 28-year-old's status for the start of the 2025 regular season bears watching even more closely with Rashee Rice potentially being suspended for four to six games to begin the year. Brown played in only two regular-season games in 2024 due to a shoulder injury, but he could be the WR2 next to Xavier Worthy in Week 1 if Rice is suspended.
