Kasperi Kapanen Exits With Injury Sunday
Edmonton Oilers right wing Kasperi Kapanen (undisclosed) made an early exit against the Detroit Red Wings on Sunday. Kapanen had a busy day at the office in a 4-2 loss with three hits and one block across 5:43 of ice time, but he had to exit the game early in the second period. Kapanen has tallied two assists in six games this season, while handing out 16 hits. Curtis Lazar and David Tomasek are the candidates to step in for Kapanen if he can't play in Tuesday's matchup against the Ottawa Senators. The two players should not generate any fantasy interest.
