7 years agoNew Orleans Saints rookie defensive end Marcus Davenport (thumb), who the team traded up into the first round to select, suffered a thumb injury and will need surgery. However, he's expected to wait until after training camp to have the surgery. It's a minor injury. Davenport shouldn't need to miss the start of the regular season, and he is expected to be a major upgrade to the team's pass rush in 2018.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
