5 years agoFree-agent outfielder Marcell Ozuna said he's basically deciding between the St. Louis Cardinals and Rangers in free agency. I’ve been in St. Louis and I like the city. My first option will be St. Louis. If they step up I will stay, if not I will find a new home," Ozuna said. St. Louis just traded away Jose Martinez and prospect Randy Arozarena, so it makes a little more sense for them to re-sign Ozuna now. The 29-year-old hasn't quite reached the lofty totals he posted in his final year in Miami in 2017, but he did manage 29 homers and 89 RBI in 130 games for the Red Birds last year while hitting .241/.328/.472.
