Mackenzie Hughes has not played on the PGA Tour in two months. It was some end to 2021 as the Canadian golfer had two top-five finishes including a runner-up at the RSM Classic. That final-round 62 sent him into his "break" on quite a high. The question is this. Starting at a tournament which begins on a Wednesday may be a tall order here. Expecting him to contend may not be a good idea but Hughes was playing well. His 15 round scoring average of 69.3 ranks second on the tour right now. It is early but Hughes may be worth a look down the road -- just maybe not at the Farmers. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
