New Jersey Devils goaltender Mackenzie Blackwood has a chance to post a fourth consecutive victory in Thursday's meeting with Washington. The 24-year-old was having a cold spell earlier in the month and was stuck on a losing streak, but things have looked a lot rosier for him lately, with Blackwood taking care of Buffalo, Pittsburgh and Philadelphia in consecutive outings. He has improved his record for the season to 8-8-1 and boasts a 2.91 goals-against average with a .908 save percentage. Beating the Capitals will be very hard, though, with New Jersey having managed only five wins in the last 22 meetings between the two. Blackwood has lost both of his previous outings in the matchup this season, posting an ugly .848 save percentage.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
