Luis Urias Starts Rehab Assignment Wednesday
2 years agoMilwaukee Brewers infielder Luis Urias (hamstring) is starting his minor-league rehab assignment on Wednesday with Triple-A Nashville. Urias is starting at third base and is hitting second for the Sounds against Triple-A Iowa. The 25-year-old hasn't played since suffering a left-hamstring strain on Opening Day, so he figures to require a lengthy rehab assignment before he comes off the 60-day injured list. Still, it's possible that he will return to big-league action before the end of this month as long as he doesn't suffer any setbacks in the minors. Owen Miller has seen most of the starts at the hot corner for the Brew Crew of late, with Brian Anderson also mixing in. When he's ready to return, Urias should be an everyday player for the Brewers.
