Luis Severino To Make Next Rehab Start Tuesday
2 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Luis Severino (lat) will make his next minor-league rehab start on Tuesday for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, according to manager Aaron Boone. The Yankees aren't ruling bringing Severino back from the injured list after his start on Tuesday, but they also aren't committing to it. In his first rehab start on Wednesday for Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Severino gave up a run in 3 1/3 innings of work (49 pitches). The 29-year-old Dominican right-hander is nearing his return to the Yankees' starting rotation for his 2023 debut, and he needs to be rostered in all fantasy formats. When he's right, he has the potential to be a fantasy ace.
