Luis Robert Jr. Sitting On Tuesday
1 year agoChicago White Sox outfielder Luis Robert Jr. (quadriceps) remains out of the starting lineup on Tuesday against the Kansas City Royals. Robert will miss his third straight game with cramping in his right quadriceps muscle, but manager Pedro Grifol said the team is targeting Wednesday for Robert's return to the lineup. Gavin Sheets is making the start in right field for the Pale Hose and will hit sixth in the batting order against Royals right-hander Brady Singer. The 26-year-old Robert must be returned to all starting fantasy lineups whenever he returns for Chicago. He's in the midst of a breakout year in 2023, hitting .272/.324/.560 with an .884 OPS, 35 home runs, 71 RBI, 17 stolen bases and 81 runs scored in 486 at-bats.
