5 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder Lourdes Gurriel Jr. (quad) is expected to be placed on the 10-day injured list on Saturday. Gurriel has been diagnosed with a Grade 1 left quad strain, so he'll be sidelined for at least 10 days. Luckily, it could have been worse, so Gurriel shouldn't be out for too long. Derek Fisher will cover left field and bat eighth versus lefty J.A. Happ. He should see most of the playing time with Gurriel sidelined.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
