2 years agoThe Detroit Lions are receiving trade calls on running back D'Andre Swift, whose representatives have been in contact with the team about potentially moving to a new team, according to sources. The Lions took talented Alabama running back Jahmyr Gibbs at No. 12 overall in the first round of Thursday night's NFL draft, and now Swift appears poised to leave Detroit. Although Gibbs has a ton of talent, it was surprising to see Detroit pull the trigger on him at 12 overall, considering they still have Swift and David Montgomery. Trading Swift makes a lot of sense now in order to let Gibbs be the featured back immediately in his rookie season. If Swift remains in Detroit, his fantasy value will tank with both Gibbs and Montgomery stealing valuable touches from him.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
