3 years agoNew Orleans Saints wide receiver Lil'Jordan Humphrey (hamstring) was able to practice on a limited basis on Thursday after he was held out on Wednesday. Humphrey was inactive in the Week 14 win over the New York Jets, but his limited practice on Thursday gives him a chance to return this Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday Night Football. The 23-year-old has played in only six games this year and has seven receptions for 127 yards and two touchdowns on 10 target, but he could serve as the team's No. 3 receiver this weekend if he's active behind Marquez Callaway and Tre'Quan Smith with Deonte Harris serving his suspension. Still, in the Saints run-first offense with quarterback Taysom Hill at the helm, it's hard to envision Humphrey having a big role if he returns to action.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
