The Tampa Bay Lightning have signed Tyler Motte to a one-year, $800,000 contract. The deal was announced after the Lightning placed Josh Archibald on unconditional waivers for the purpose of terminating his contract. Motte was an unrestricted free agent after splitting the 2022-23 campaign between the Ottawa Senators and New York Rangers. The bottom-six grinder had a career year offensively last term, posting 19 points (eight goals, 11 assists) in 62 games. His work included 109 shots on goal and 118 hits. We can expect to see similar numbers from him in 2023-24.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerRead More News
