Landry Shamet To Miss One More Game On Monday
1 year agoWashington Wizards guard Landry Shamet (toe) won't be available to make his season debut Monday against Boston. The 26-year-old sharpshooter is recovering from a fractured toe and has been back practicing but will have to stay patient as he waits for a chance to hit the court. Shamet has been a solid role player throughout his five-year NBA career and should be able to give the Wizards good minutes off the bench once he's healthy to play. Until that happens, Corey Kispert will continue to log big minutes off the pine, with the likes of Bilal Coulibaly and Delon Wright also quite heavily used from the second unit. The bench guys might even get an extended runout on Monday, as the Celtics are 10-point favorites for the contest and are expected to win comfortably.
