Lance McCullers Jr. Goes Six Innings In Return
4 years agoHouston Astros starter Lance McCullers Jr. allowed two runs through six innings pitched in the Astros 4-2 loss to the Angels on Sunday. McCullers Jr. returned to the rotation and allowed only three hits and threw 106 pitches. McCullers Jr. was roughed up by the Tigers on April 14 but got back on track in this performance. The right-handed starter is trying to get back to his 2018 form and currently is allowing a combined .541 OPS to opposing hitters. McCullers will try and carry this performance into his next start.
