Lance McCullers Has 2.95 ERA In Night Games
6 years agoHouston Astros starter Lance McCullers Jr. will take the mound Friday night against the White Sox. McCullers is coming off of a strong month of June, going 2-0 with a 2.81 ERA and a 1.13 WHIP in five starts. McCullers (9-3) also has done his best work pitching in night games. In 12 starts pitching at night, the right-hander is 7-3 with a 2.95 ERA and 1.01 WHIP. McCullers has cut down on the walks this season and has done an excellent job holding left-handed hitters to a .167 batting average. Execution is the key to success for McCullers, and he will have DFS appeal Friday night against a talent-bereft White Sox offense.
