LaMonte Wade Jr. Hits Sixth Homer Monday
2 years agoSan Francisco Giants first baseman LaMonte Wade Jr. stayed hot in Monday's 7-3 loss to the Houston Astros by going 2-for-3 with his sixth home run of the season, an RBI, two runs scored and a walk. Wade is currently riding a modest six-game hitting streak that has brought his season slash line up to .260/.443/.575 with an impressive 1.019 OPS. He's also added three doubles, one triple, six home runs, nine RBI, a stolen base and 12 runs scored in 98 plate appearances over his 26 games to begin the 2023 campaign. Keep riding the 29-year-old's left-handed bat, especially when he's hitting at the top of San Fran's batting order against right-handed pitching.
