Lamar Jackson Not Going Anywhere
2 years agoUpdating a previous report, the Baltimore Ravens made it very clear at their season-ending press conference on Thursday that quarterback Lamar Jackson, who will become a free agent in March, isn't going anywhere. The Ravens are excited to resume contract negotiations with Jackson this offseason, but if they can't work something out, they will absolutely slap the franchise tag on him for 2023. Head coach John Harbaugh said, "Lamar Jackson is our quarterback" and also said Jackson will have input on who the next offensive coordinator will be after Baltimore parted ways with Greg Roman. Jackson probably isn't too thrilled that the Ravens haven't given him an extension to this point, but that could be settled this offseason. Despite suffering a PCL sprain on Dec. 4 that caused him to miss the rest of the season, Jackson will be back in Baltimore in 2023 and will be a high-end QB1 target in fantasy.
