Kyler Murray Should Be Fine For Week 9
3 years agoArizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray (ankle) and head coach Kliff Kingsbury think he'll be fine to play this Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers, even if he doesn't practice at all during the week. Murray said his left ankle feels "good" despite not practicing on Wednesday. "I think I'll be good to go on Sunday if I just know the game plan and get the mental reps," Murray said. Kingsbury said that Murray will likely be a game-time decision this weekend. His ankle did not look swollen on Wednesday and he was walking without issues. Murray injured his ankle on the last play of the game in last Thursday's loss to the Green Bay Packers and was seen wearing a walking boot as he left the stadium. We'll keep a close eye on Murray as the week progresses, but he'll remain a high-end QB1 if he's active.
