Kyler Murray Says Offense Is Close To Clicking
4 years agoArizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray said the team's offense is "not far off" after dropping from first to sixth in total offense in the last two weeks. Their Week 13 loss to the Rams dropped the team to 6-6 and out of seventh for the final playoffs spot in the NFC. Murray isn't feeling the pressure and also said his right throwing shoulder is fine after tweaking it a few weeks ago. The second-year professional only threw for 173 yards in the loss to LA, but he did have three touchdowns. His shoulder injury has coincided with a drop in production, as he has thrown for under 200 yards both of the last two weeks. New York's defense, though, held Russell Wilson down a week ago and have allowed the fourth-fewest fantasy points per game to QBs. Murray remains a QB1, but he's more of a low-end one until he proves us wrong with the shoulder.
