Kyle Philips Leads Titans In Receiving In Week 9
1 year agoTennessee Titans wide receiver Kyle Philips led the team in receiving in their 20-16 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday night, catching four of his five targets for 68 yards. Philips' four receptions tied DeAndre Hopkins and he was third in targets behind Hopkins and running back Tyjae Spears. The 24-year-old second-year wideout showed some nice chemistry with rookie quarterback Will Levis, who looked impressive in just his second NFL start. Treylon Burks had to leave the game on a stretcher late in the fourth quarter due to an apparent head injury, so Philips' role could continue to grow if Burks is forced to miss time, which seems likely. For now, Philips is a name to watch heading into a Week 10 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
