Kyle Gibson Now Starting Tuesday
2 years agoThe Baltimore Orioles announced that right-hander Kyle Gibson will be moved up to start on Tuesday against the Texas Rangers. Gibson had been originally scheduled to start on Wednesday, but he'll be on regular rest on Tuesday because of the off day last Friday. Tyler Wells was scheduled to go on Tuesday, but he was used in relief on Monday. With things moved around, the Orioles could be looking at a bullpen game on Wednesday. In his Opening Day start last Thursday against the Boston Red Sox, Gibson allowed four earned runs on six hits while walking one and striking out three in five innings in a win. The 35-year-old is an innings-eater in fantasy and will be a shaky streaming option against a Rangers team that is hot to begin the season.
