Kyle Bradish Allows Just One Hit Through Six Frames
6 months agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher Kyle Bradish turned in a gem on Saturday. He tossed six shutout frames, allowed just one hit, and struck out nine. He did not allow a walk. His only mistake came off a Yandy Diaz leadoff single in the bottom of the first. After Diaz, he went on to retire 18 batters consecutively. The 27-year-old now sits with a strong 2.62 ERA, 1.11 WHIP, and 14:49 BB:K ratio. Bradish did not make his season debut until May 2 due to an elbow injury. He is tentatively lined up to face the Atlanta Braves on Thursday and should be considered a must-start option going forward.
