Kevin Porter Jr. Scores 27 Points With Eight Assists
Kevin Porter Jr. went off for 27 points and eight assists in Friday's loss to the Jazz. Porter added three rebounds, two blocks, a triple, and a steal in 41 minutes. The 20-year-old provided a spark for the shorthanded Rockets, as they were without big names such as Christian Wood, Victor Oladipo, and John Wall, among others. In two games since being called up from the G-League, Porter has averaged 20 points, 9.0 assists, 4.0 rebounds, 2.0 steals, 1.5 blocks, and 1.0 triples per game. With Wood and Wall unlikely to return until Tuesday or Wednesday, Porter could be a nice streaming option in season-long leagues against the Celtics, as well as a savvy DFS play.
