Kansas City Royals closer Kelvin Herrera locked down his eighth save of the season on Friday by pitching a clean inning against division rival Cleveland. Herrera has been nearly untouchable this season, as he’s only surrendered one run all year, but his save numbers have been severely limited so far by how bad his team is. The Royals have only won 13 games so far. Herrera’s strikeout numbers aren’t as gaudy as some of the other premier closers in the game, but he also hasn’t walked a single batter this season, something that plagued him when he struggled last year.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
