KaVontae Turpin to Miss Second Straight Game
KaVontae Turpin (foot) has been ruled out for a second straight game in Week 6 against the hosting Carolina Panthers on Sunday after he was unable to practice all week, according to Jon Machota of The Athletic. Turpin suffered a foot injury in the Week 4 tie with the Green Bay Packers and will now miss his second straight game. The 29-year-old's next chance to return to action will be in Week 7 against the division-rival Washington Commanders. With both Turpin and CeeDee Lamb (ankle) missing another game, George Pickens should once again dominate pass-game targets, with Ryan Flournoy and Jalen Tolbert serving as secondary options. Tight end Jake Ferguson has been quarterback Dak Prescott's No. 2 weapon in the two weeks that Lamb has been unavailable. At best, Turpin is the team's WR3/kick returner when healthy.
