4 years agoDenver Broncos rookie wide receiver K.J. Hamler (hamstring) suffered an injury in the 37-28 Thursday night win over the Jets in Week 4 and did not return to the contest. Hamler wasn't targeted at all in the passing game before his injury with quarterback Brett Rypien making his first career start, while teammate Tim Patrick went for six catches, 113 yards and his second touchdown of the season. It's concerning for Hamler, as he dealt with an injury earlier this year that caused him to miss the season-opener. If the speedy rookie is forced to miss additional time, DaeSean Hamilton would ascend to No. 3 receiver status behind Jerry Jeudy and Patrick.
