Justin Rose Wins FedEx Cup Title
6 years agoTiger Woods may have won the battle, but Justin Rose won the war at East Lake Country Club on Sunday. Rose struggled in the final round of the Tour Championship, grinding out a three-over par 73 to finish in a tie for fifth. The Englishman slid down the leaderboard throughout the afternoon, but was able to muster a brilliant birdie on the par-five 18th hole to clinch the FedEx Cup title and a $10 million bonus. The FedEx Cup win was another accomplishment in what has been a stellar career for Rose. He will add this title to a trophy case that includes a U.S. Open championship and an Olympic gold medal. Rose has been the most consistent golfer in the world throughout 2018. He will be in action for Team Europe at the upcoming Ryder Cup.
