Justin Jackson Ruled Out Against Philadelphia
Justin Jackson (quadriceps) missed practice all week and has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 9. Jackson was injured in the Week 8 loss to the New England Patriots. Joshua Kelley was a healthy scratch last weekend, but he and rookie Larry Rountree III will take turns serving as a chance-of-pace for starter Austin Ekeler against the Eagles. On the year, Rountree has the most carries behind Ekeler with 28, gaining 71 yards in his rookie season. Rountree and Jackson have combined for eight receptions for 33 yards on their nine targets, compared to 42 targets for Ekeler. If Ekeler were to miss time with an injury, it's likely that the Bolts backfield would become a full-on committee.
