The Athletics are promoting infield prospect Joshua Kuroda-Grauer to Double-A Midland, according to Chase Ford of MiLB Central. Kuroda-Grauer is currently ranked as the No. 8 prospect in the system on MLB.com. He joined the organization in the third round of last year's MLB Draft out of Rutgers. Through 80 games with High-A Lansing this season, Kuroda-Grauer has been very productive, holding a .293/.353/.362 slash line with 21 doubles, 26 home runs, and 26 stolen bases. During the 2024 campaign, Kuroda-Grauer appeared in just 28 games following the draft, primarily in the lower levels of the system, and posted a .324/.421/.343 line with five stolen bases. Kuroda-Grauer has been rather impressive since making his professional debut. If he continues to swing a hot bat at Double-A, he should be in the mix to join Triple-A early in the 2026 season.--Andy SmithRead More News
