Winnipeg Jets defenseman Josh Morrissey exited Thursday's 4-2 victory over Vancouver with a lower-body injury, but head coach Rick Bowness has said that he is hopeful that Morrissey will be fine for Saturday's action against Edmonton. Morrissey had another outstanding performance on Thursday with two power-play assists in 19:04 of ice time. He has already surpassed his previous career-high in points and boasts six goals and 36 assists through 36 appearances. San Jose's Erik Karlsson is the only blue-liner in the league with more points than Morrissey, and the 27-year-old has been held scoreless just once in his past 14 appearances.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
