Jose Iglesias Lacks Fantasy Appeal
4 years agoLos Angeles Angels shortstop Jose Iglesias will look to provide a defensive presence for the Angels infield heading into the regular season. The light-hitting infielder is slashing .256/.289/.512 this spring and will try and replace Andrelton Simmons at shortstop for the Angels. To be fair, Iglesias was incredible last season for the Orioles, slashing .373/.400/.556 with 17 doubles through 142 at-bats last season. But before fantasy teams rush to the window to draft Iglesias, remember that the 31-year-old has a career .381 slugging percentage through 841 career games. Heading into the season, Iglesias should not be rostered in most fantasy formats.
