Jose Altuve Getting A Day Off
2 years agoHouston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve is not in the starting lineup on Wednesday against the Arizona Diamondbacks. It looks to be just a normal day of rest for the 32-year-old All-Star. Fantasy managers must act accordingly and send him to their benches for the day. Altuve is wrapping up a very strong month at the dish, hitting .357 (30-for-84) with six home runs, nine RBI, 24 runs scored and six stolen bases in 22 games in September. He's a no-brainer must-start down the stretch when he's in the lineup. Aledmys Diaz is starting at second base and batting second on Wednesday against Diamondbacks right-hander Zac Gallen. Diaz is in a nice lineup spot for DFS production, but he's facing one of the best pitchers in baseball this year.
