Jordan Whittington 2025 Fantasy Football Outlook: Has A Shot At Becoming Rams WR3
Jordan Whittington had a highly inconsistent rookie season. It was thought that a Cooper Kupp departure would open up a lane for Whittington to serve as the team's WR2, but instead, the Rams signed WR Davante Adams for that role, or possibly a 1A/1B role with receiver Puka Nacua. When both Nacua and Kupp were healthy, Whittington hardly played on offense, though. He would take just a handful of snaps, instead ceding the work to the likes of Tutu Atwell, Demarcus Robinson, and even Tyler Johnson. Robinson is gone, but it's questionable if Whittington can even beat out Atwell for snaps. Atwell was extended by the team in the 2025 offseason and has drawn praise from Rams head coach Sean McVay, who stated that he wanted to use Atwell more. A few nice preseason catches might have made fantasy managers high on Whittington, but he doesn't figure to be heavily involved in the offense in 2025 unless some injuries occur, which is a real possibility at least.
