Jordan Spieth, a three-time Major winner, will be very disappointed that he did not capture his fourth Major at Carnoustie. The American entered Sunday in a three-way tie at nine-under par with Kevin Kisner and Xander Schauffele and was the odds-on favorite to capture the Claret Jug. A grueling final round in strong wind conditions saw Spieth shoot a five-over par 76 and eventually finish in a share of ninth place. The 24-year-old was looking to become the youngest player in over a century to defend their Open Championship title successfully. Spieth has had a frustrating year on tour, and this loss will only add to his disappointing season.--Spencer Aguiar - RotoBallerRead More News
