Joey Bosa Restructures His Deal To Stay With Chargers
9 months agoLos Angeles Chargers Pro Bowl defensive end Joey Bosa (foot) has restructured his contract to remain with the team, according to sources. Both Bosa and All-Pro edge rusher Khalil Mack restructured their deals this offseason in order to stay together for at least one more season. The 28-year-old Bosa was scheduled to make $22 million in 2024 and $25.36 million next year. While Bosa is one of the best pure pass-rushers in the NFL, staying healthy has made him a disappointment for fantasy managers that have invested in the defensive lineman in IDP formats. The former third overall pick by the Chargers in 2016 out of Ohio State missed the last seven games in 2023 due to a foot injury and has only played 14 games in the last two years due to injury. If he can stay healthy for a full season, both he and Mack could do some serious damage on opposing quarterbacks.
